Hello, thank you for visiting my website.

My name is Angela and I live with my husband and grown up son in a 3 bedroom terraced house on the outskirts of Launceston, Cornwall. We have all had a CBR police checks. We have 2 cats that are usually out when minded children are here. I also have 2 other grown up children and 4 young grandchildren, 2 of them I look after 4 days a week.

My house is fitted with all the safety equipment needed to keep children safe - stair gates, plug cover, heater guards, smoke alarms, fire blanket, plus other safety equipment such as baby monitor, high chair, booster seats, reins and car seats.

Outside I have back and front gardens which are used for childminding. They are both safe and secure with locked gates, the areas are checked daily for hazards.

The back garden has a patio area ideal for riding trikes, cars, scooters, ball play, sand pit and a croc saw plus many other activities.

The front garden has grass and a patio area with a play house, slide, sand and water table and child size garden furniture.

I have been registered as a childminder since December 2003,

I am registered with Ofsted to care for up to 6 children under 8 only 3 of those under 5 and only 1 of those under 1.

I am also registered for OVERNIGHT care

My last OFSTED inspection (2007) was graded “OUTSTANDING” my report can be viewed by clicking here Ofsted Report - please ask to have a written copy of my report. (All new parents will receive one)

I am fully insured for childminding and a member of the National Childminding Association

I aim to offer children a safe and caring environment to develop and learn in through play by providing them with individual care, stimulating activities and a wide range of resources, lots of praise and cuddles.

I supply a copy of my policies to parents to read and keep, these will give more information about the way I run my childminding business.

I provide parents of under 5’s with a daily diary keeping them informed of activities, sleep, food and any other information of their child’s day.

School Pick Up and Toddler Groups ;

I can do pick ups to Launceston Pre-school and Toddlers, St Joseph School, St Stephens Pre school, Toddlers and School, others may be available.
