My Name is Angela, i have been a registered childminder since December 2003 since this time i have cared for many children from the ages of 4 months - 13 years as well as my own 3 grown up children and my 4 grandchildren.

I live with my husband and grown up son in a 3 bedroom house on the outskirts of Launceston. We have;

• Large Lounge/Dinner (eating,play ,quiet play,extra sleeping)
• Conservatory Playroom laid out solely for the children.
• Kitchen (cooking, messy play)
• Front garden (grass and patio) trampoline, slide, house,seesaw,
• Back garden leading out from playroom(Patio) bikes/ride ons,chalkboard,kids furniture.

I am registered with Ofsted to care for 6 children under 8; only 3 under 5 and only one under 1.

I am also registered for overnight care.

My last Ofsted inspection 2007 i was graded OUTSTANDING my report can be veiwed here. Ofsted Report

I am fully insured for childminding.

It is a legal requirement i follow the Early Years Foundation Stage EYFS with all children under 5, i do this by carefully planning activities following children’s individual needs and interests (children learn best doing what they enjoy)in a well resourced, safe and caring environment. This will include daily indoor and outdoor play and visits/outings.

I work closely with children’s families and other settings they may attend, so together we can support their learning and development.Each child under 5 has a daily diary for parents to read.

I am always looking at improving my service with training, extending resources/equipment, working with parents, keeping updated with new requirments.

• Cache “Certificate in Childminding Practice” level 3
• EYFS Training

• Sounds and Letters
